One of my favourite things to do is travel and experience different cultures and ways of living. Last week I was lucky enough to go to Marrakech in Morocco which has been on my bucket list of places to visit for the longest time. The markets in the square are just as incredible as people say they are, if not better. It’s amazing we didn’t get lost to be honest, the streets subtly curve sending your spiralling around the stalls like a maze. If it wasn’t for my compass of boyfriend, we probably wouldn’t have made it safely on the plane home.
Needless to say, Morocco is amazing and I wouldn’t think twice about going again. But, that’s not what I came here to talk about. Going on holiday is one of the best things; days filled with scorching sun, pools of the plentiful and unlimited food. Chilled evenings unleashing your inner fashion goddess, card games and alcohol (if you’re the legal age that is), what more could you want?
So here are my top 3 favourite evening outfits I wore on holiday:
1) Playing it cool
When you first arrive in a new place, especially somewhere where religion recquires you to be more modest about your clothing choices, playing it safe is always the right move.
Yellow Floral Print Crop – River Island
White Ripped Leigh Jeans – Topshop
Tan Sandals – Primark
Block colour vs. bold pattern in very on trend at the moment. So mixing it together successfully is always going to be a big winner and nothing says bold like monochrome.
Textured White Crop Top – Boohoo
Cut Out Geo Necklace – Forever 21
Black & White print Shorts – River Island
Sandals – Warehouse
3) Fun and Fancy
For our last night, I wanted to dress it up a little but still keeping it fun. I was on holiday after all. The dress has a cute daily mesh overlay which add’s the fun to what would otherwise be quite a dress dress. P.S White is the best colour to wear if you want to show off your weeks tanning efforts.
Daisy Swing Dress – ASOS
Sandals – Warehouse
This was something different as far as my blog has gone so far, hope you loved it as much as I loved documenting it.
